This project has received funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 which is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Union. It has been delivered by Northern Marches Cymru, the partnership which has direct responsibility for managing development projects in the rural Wrexham area.
The Sacred Space project is a development of the Open Church Network in rural Wrexham. Many of the churches in the Sacred Space project are also in the Open Church Network so they are kept open for people to discover the history and architecture that can be found in them.
